Hehe, sorry,I just can't stop reading the posts over at the AI forums,it's too entertaining.Maybe we should open a new thread dedicated to it,call it 'look what the retard said',and there we copy all the dumb and dumber posts in there. This one could be my new favourite...

"The Live singer knew that Chris was better which is why he did not let Chris sing solo long.

He was not gonna let Chris prove how much better he was.

Funny"

I second the biggest retard vote on this one- Nice job!

Its hard to say. In 10 yrs its possible Chris could be a better singer than Ed ever was. Important to remember that Ed is more than just the singer for Live. Then again, Ed didnt make his money being a good singer. He made it being an average singer/ great controled screamer.

There was one part I thought Chris did better than Ed could. They were both singing at the same time...i think right before the bridge then Chris's voice just overpowered Ed's, but that was really the only part I thought Chris was better.

they hid them all to the side except ed and chris. You could hear Adam on vocals at the end though (they might have had his mic turned up a bit too loud lol.gif )

That awesome. Sounded like Adam was singing lead.

That marked the first and probably only time I will voluntarily watch American Idle. Ooops. Idol. That's 2 1/2 hours of my life that I want back.

All I can say is, do you think Ed & Meatloaf had a Fight Club reunion after the performance?

Don't steal my phrase bird lover. I've been calling that show American Idle before it first aired.
Otherwise I'll have some of those birdies on the barbie. death.gif

What most of these fucktards don't know is that Ed has influenced the one they love so much (Chris) and thats were he gets his style from. From that alone they should give Live a try if they've never heard them because I bet most of them would love Live. But then again middle america never surprises me.

This is my first post and visit to this site. I am a huge Chris fan, and I am now a fan of LIVE, they did awesome. I love love love the song. I am going to buy the CD asap!

Don't worry about the tweenies on the AI sites, they are mostly little trolls. Live was awesome and so was Chris. Chris adores Live and I am sure this was a dream come true for him. I don't think drawing comparisons is necessary.

I think LIVE has a lot of new fans. What CD is Mystery on so I can get to the store?

Songs from Black Mountain, which won't be released until June 6.

If you like Mystery i think that you are going to love the new album... it has better songs than Mystery IMO. Enjoy on the 6th of June. In this forum there are some lucky Europeans, including myself, who have been enjoying SFBM for a couple of months now. Welcome to Live and to the board.

Hey! I'm the nOOb you guys were scared of... lol.gif

Anyway, I signed on just to comment on Live's new album/performance on AI.

At first, I thought Live was selling out and using AI for their own financial gain, but now I see it as more of a "skillful means" type of move (anyone here Buddhist?). I really admire Ed and I've been a fan of Live since Mental Jewelry was being played on the radio. I love their music, although I must admit the bitter and dark days were more entertaining for me... mainly because I was in a dark place at that time. I think it's really great how positive they've gotten, but I'm not necessarily into love and all that all the time, especially in my music... but I'm open to it, and I'll give the new album a try. Some of Live's most beautiful songs came after that dark phase, so I look forward to it. hi.gif

And whomever commented on Ed's little "dance...." Yeah, that creeped me out a bit, but his eyes seemed sincere, like he was trying to say something.

Which reminds me, did anyone see the way Ed looked at Chris somewhat towards the end (as they come to the front of the stage)? It could have just been a look of concentration, but Ed flashed Chris a very concerned look at one point... it scared me. omg.gif
