i do not think it is very right to hang words like that on that page. this way the Live fans behave the same way as fuckers wh come to a live Fb page to scream NO ED NO LIVE etc


You will all be simply banned from Ed page. that would be the result.

Anyway, i find this drummer much better than all the previous Ed's solo drummers. hope he gets into the studio and at least 1 instrument will sound more or less fine on a new EdKo record

Very bad publicity for Ed. But i still hope he will be alright. He must stop using the name Live, but i wish Ed the very best.

But his post about his drummer is still unacceptable. He only did that to 'take down' his former bandmate.

The important thing in all this is to make it clear who is and isn't in Live. The money doesn't matter, although I think the fee being mentioned makes the story bigger and, as a result, makes the former easier to do.

Also, when exactly did Ed start asking for and getting a separate bus and dressing room? What were his reasons? Was it all part of the ultimatum?

Yes, CG talked shit, but with all of his blabbering about faith Ed has put himself on a much larger pedestal. Without all of that Christian-ese business this comment doesn't bother me at all, but he has asked to be held to a higher standard.

Ed has always been about talking up his current drummers (and never anyone else in the band). It's a delusion fueled by everything that has happened with he and CG. I've wondered why he picks on CG more than the others, and I've heard some things, but it's interesting nonetheless.

And, for the record, using plexiglass has jack shit to do with how someone plays the drums. In the dinky venues that Ed plays now he is always close enough to the drums that they are going to be crazy loud even when Ramy plays them.

As much as I'd love to see Ed's FB bombarded with probing questions and disdain I wouldn't partake in it myself and hope no one from here does. We can't tell people "if you don't want to be on board with Live, then leave them alone" and then do the same to Ed. It's different giving him shit on here cos this is a LIVE forum with a small subsection for Ed, his FB is about him and really only his sad fans should be there. However, to the people giving him shit that aren't from here - I love it! He can't keep on ignoring what people think and when he is asked fans reactions in interviews you know the answer "oh it's been all so positive and supportive" is a lie unless he adds "besides the opinions of the people I had to delete".
The only excuse for deleting things is to clean up before the place turns into a warzone/argument city, it shouldn't be about censoring opinions.

Either way, I think Ed deserves all he gets.

Is it a trademark violation for Ed to advertise "Ed Kowalczyk of Live?"

I'm pretty sure this complaint will get settled out of court.

In any case, the lawsuit is some good cheap press for the new Live and maybe even for Ed.

It is an interesting debate. I don't think they can prevent him from associating himself with Live, but they can prevent him from saying he is "of Live." It's rare to see someone who is just not in a band anymore bill themselves that way, because it's just inaccurate.

Also, he must be concerned since he's changed the billing of his tour already.

I agree, I have no reason to make comments on his page. But I think it's ironic with that video and post; the reply's and fan reactions to him which turn up the heat.come right after a show, right after this new suit and the surrounding press from everywhere. He may have played in the tiny Wolfs Den at the casino, but I think once he left there he stepped into a bigger wolves den for real. His non responses and lack or talk around it will most likely have to end at some point, or maybe it will be more status quo.
