It would greatly behoove Ed to try and settle this out of court. Not just because of the money it could save him in the long run, but also save on the damage and embarrassment of articles like that one.

5 million? That's all? He should have saved/invested more when he was making the big $$$$. His house would have to be worth a chunk of that.

Edited because that was a very ignorant observation. I assumed that was Ed's and his wife's net worth as that is how I would work out hub's and mine as we share income for taxation purposes. His wife is sure to have her own net worth which I guess would be half of the home etc. I also have no idea if she has her own additional income.

Don't be a troll, provide the links and evidence. Perhaps Ed's countersuing? If he is, perhaps he's upset the other suit is moving forward.

I am not suggesting that CCP is motivated by this - but you couldn't ask for more visibility around the reboot of the band with Chris's Shinn and the fact that Ed left (and Ed's solo career too) than they are getting from this lawsuit news. Billboard, Hollywood Reporter... Probably other entertainment news services to follow. They might get something positive from this by having it reported. I don't think that the names Live, Chris Shinn or Ed Kowalczyk would have been mentioned by Billboard or Hollywood reporter just because of the release of a solo EP and a new album.
