It's funny how Ed is using his connection to Live to promote his solo work while Adam makes a concerted effort to keep his solo work and his relationship with Live separate.

I remember on the Australian Live tour in 2004, Adam performed a show in Melbourne during a night off. His tour poster didn't mention Live and the little bit of press he received prior didn't reference Live either.

It's a shame that Adam's music hasn't reached a wider audience. I always thought that Adam should have opened for Live more frequently. I can recall it occuring at least once (in London) but imagine having 8,000 Live fans exposed to your music. It would have given him a leg-up in scoring a deal with that kind of support behind him.

Not sure what he's doing other than solo appearances now. The Mint which he joined last year, has disbanded recently.

I'd assume that mostly had to do with the record label back in those days.

I really love both of his records. But I do not think music like that would ever be interesting to a wide audience.

Would be interesting to have a bootleg of Adam's show. Have never knew he fronted the band for one show. Is there any more trivia about this?

My buddy bumped into Adam a month or so ago. Adam does have a 9-5 job, although I'm not sure what or where?

I also said "woa". Damn shame that he cannot pursue his dream on a full time basis. No doubt he has the talent...

Tough being a musician these days!

It is too bad Ed can't help his brother out and hire him as a lead guitarist and back ground vocals instead of using some random guys. At least Adam knows how to play the songs the way they are supposed to be played.

Then again, his 9-5 job probably pays better than Ed pays his "band". Or it is at least less of a headache than dealing with Eddie K.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Probably expected to do it for brotherly love. That ain't gonna pay the mortgage. Not to mention the workplace conditions of having to deal with a narcissicist on a daily basis.

Or since Adam now has a child, he may not want to be on the road as much. A 9-5 job makes more sense than touring with Ed on an inconsistent basis.

I am also not sure if Adam is a lead guitarist.

Adam should just make his own coffee blend and paste his kid on the packaging and then sell it on Ed's site. Problem solved!

Edit: Guess even Ed realized how douchebag it was to sell that coffee, as the kid's brand is no longer for sale.

So EK doesn't care about his kids? Guess he was lying when he said...

"I don't need no one to tell me about heaven
I look at my daughter, and I believe."

More like...

"I don't need no one to tell me about heaven
I look at dead presidents, and I believe."
