i think you have several intances around here stating, Ed would be better off playing the Live catalog.

Of course Ed would be better off playing the Live catalog. Its what people know. Live would probably be better off playing the Live catalog for the same reason. Neither of them are popular anymore. Here's one fan hoping that they both change that.
