Most of the professional reviews are pretty positive towards LIVE. Most saying (except two of like dozens) that Ed blew Chris out of the water. Google News search Ed Kowalczyk and see. Pretty good stuff.

Oh my what a can of worms this whole thing has opened! I suppose positive or negative publicity is publicity!

Has anyone one read what one girl/guy said about Ed looking alomost anorexic on the AI message board? Fucking ha haaaaa!! Where do these people come from?

Yeah, lol. I think most of the negative comments are more humorous than disgusting.

I only saw about 2 positvie things about Ed in the 7-10 articles I read. One saying they thought "Chris smoked Ed". UM? Chris couldn't even hit the high notes. I really think some of these people didn't know which voice was coming out which singer. It was clear that Ed was the much much much better of the two. I mean hell he's only been doing it for close to 20 years.

There was a whiff of desperation when former alternative-rock heavyweights Live showed up to perform their new single "Mystery" with ousted contestant Chris Daughtry, who could have passed for the twin of the band's shaved-headed singer, Ed Kowalczyk.

What most of these fucktards don't know is that Ed has influenced the one they love so much (Chris) and thats were he gets his style from. From that alone they should give Live a try if they've never heard them because I bet most of them would love Live. But then again middle america never surprises me.

Why in the World are they comparing??? Why is anyone comparing? 2 guys with great voices on stage at once, and the performance was awesome. I wouldn't call Ed much, much, much better... just a more seasoned performer. We'll see where Chris is at in 20 years, cause hopefully Absent Element will be performing with some rookie that idolizes Chris at that point. The raw talent that man has is amazing. Very very very cool to see Live do that for Chris. I've watched it over and over and have goosebumps.

Yeah makes sense...... Ed's got 20 years on Chris and it was his song. Not to mention.... how nervous would any of us be performing with our Idol? Pretty sure Ed could pull off singing with Absent Element. God, I'd love to see that. If you've heard So I Lie Awake.... I'd love to hear that re-recorded with Ed and Chris. *shivers*. We're all hoping he gets to make his own contract regardless. I don't want to hear canned Chris, I want his own songs in his own words. I'm just so thankful that his Idols have taken the time to acknowledge and talk to him. I forgot what an incredible PERSON Ed is since he's been out of the limelight for a while. VERY COOL for him to grant an Idol contestant one of his wishes.

Without Ed, there is no Live. He writes the songs, he does the majority of promotion, and he's an awesome performer. Chris has a nice voice and a good look, but he has long way to go to get into Ed's league.
