Some users here saw him as THE replacement for Ed after 2009: his bro Adam Kowalczyk.
Some years ago, the guy seemed to front the band for real, but only for one show, when Ed couldn't do it anymore due to some problems and struggled with his voice.
I think this was 2006 or so, SFBM era, Rock Werchter? (correct me if I'm wrong).

I was wondering if anyone has a recording of it or even attended the show/festival? I'm quite sure a site had the full audio recording of it a while ago (no, not Bootleg Heaven, maybe Liverockspace.com, or something along those lines). I never downloaded it, too bad.

Anyway, I think it's interesting to hear how Adam helped his brother out (maybe unprepared) and how well or bad it sounded. I give him credit for doing it anyway.
I mean, we had another, extra guitarist for a few shows, we had another bassist one time, but replacement of the singer... That never happpened (until 2009 and the announcement of Shinn).

I think it might be quite the opposite when it comes to money with the EK AK relationship......otherwise he may be still working with big brother.

It was a show in 2007, I remember it and I also have a bootleg somewhere. Adam sounded spot on.

J, that is the huge question. Why has Adam quit the EdKo band? Did he leave? Why? Was he thrown out?

Since their tour and after Adam left I have not heard a single word about how the bros got along really. I have not seen a single mutual pic or even seen any word of praise in a social networks from one to another.

Huh? It's just a question... I mean, I doubt he makes enough money playing solo or when he was performing with The Mint so I assume he earns $$$ through other non-music related ways. I was just wondering if anybody knew.

When Adam was on tour with Live then I assume that touring would provide most of his income, but how about now?
