This cd is going to be epic. I'm just so impressed how well he can sing, why the hell did he stick with Scott Stapp for so long. On the other side, thankfully he did, because it eventually took him down the path of meeting Myles Kennedy and Alter Bridge forming.

So this album finally hits this Tuesday. I'll be buying it Tuesday. On a side note, has anyone found it anywhere online? I can usually find stuff a week early, but I'm coming up short on this.

Not a chance. Myles Kennedy has one of the best overall voices in rock. Myles voice is naturally gifted, where as Tremonti's voice has had some help in the recording studio.

I really want to like Myles Kennedy because the songs are good, but there is something about his voice that gets under my skin, literally makes me flinch. I don't know why.

I went to a private Major League Baseball All Star show a few years ago where Three Days Grace was headlining and Alterbridge opened. I was invited by TDG and had no idea it was Alterbridge opening. The songs were good, I just find his voice a bit irritating. I can hear it on the new Slash song also. But that song that Watch Over You that Alterbridge I really like.

Well, what can I say brothers. This record ranks among the best I have heard in my entire life. And I am no kidding. The crusty riffs, speed rhythm-section,. only a couple of grungy ballads... And a very good voice. It all came as a huge surprise. I was expecting this one to be good, I just can not still imagine how perfect it is!

Tremonti has grown in leaps and bounds as a guitar player since My Own Prison. He was decent back then, but he got academic with his craft and this is the result of it.

I can't say that this is quite my cup of tea, but there's no denying the guy's talent.

Is it the high notes he hits or is it just that long-winded way he sings? Because he is very long-winded...
