Honestly, I give Ed a lot of shit but it is sad he isn't a part of Live getting back to being Live. I acknowledge his previous greatness. He was in a class by himself. And that is the reason I give him so much shit. I've seen what he was and what he became and even though I don't know him it is a sad thing to watch from afar. It's like seeing a friends daughter who all her life was an angel turn into a pornstar or seeing a friends son who was a great kid turn into a drug addict or something. A harsh comparison, I realize, but to me Ed was different than most and then he changed.

However, if it wasn't for Ed this never would have happened. We would be getting SFBM III by now and would never have heard/seen TGF.

But I apologize. I shouldn't have even brought this up and please don't let my comments derail the thread. Live deals in dreams and I deal in sarcasm. I am greatful that CCP stuck it out. I don't doubt they did they for themselves (did what they know and love) but in doing so they did a solid for us fans.

Nah, let it roll off!! I agree with your sentiments. I have felt the same way since 2000 (late), I started noticing those changes. I acknowledge all his past works up to 2000 which are stellar. I collect to my archive as much as I can and I am listening to him belt LJ on a SS boot as we speak. It's all good. Let the next phase present itself to all of us kids who got left on the curb when Ed's ego and ambitions rendered the magic silent.
