I saw Brandon Flowers play HOB Atlantic City in 2010. He played decently, but complained on stage about place being near empty. After his US tour completed, he was done. When was the last Brandon Flowers solo show?!

Who gives a fuck. Completely irrelevant. He never left The Killers. They took a break, he scratched an itch with a solo album, they reconvened when they were ready to record new material. If Ed didn't have such a massive ego he would have realized he had something special with Live and could have done something similar.

Maybe if CCP didn't throw him out of the band, publicly rip him, and sue him, he would still be working with them. They only asked him back once The Gracious Few didn't take off and Kevin Martin went back to Candlebox.

He left under his own accord. Get your facts straight. Once cooler heads prevailed, and being smart enough to realize what they had/have in Live, they reached out to him. He wasn't coming back anyway, he never appreciated what he had in Live. Only an idiot would marginalize CCP and piss off everyone within reach of the band.

He wanted to release a solo album and was still working on LIVE material. The solo album wasn't a popular decision with CCP, and he was removed from the band. Ever notice how "secret contracts" that were signed in 2006, only came out after the announcement of Ed releasing a solo album in 2009.

CCP act like angels, but they are as much blame to LIVE's demise as Ed.

Stop making shit up. Ed has stated himself on numerous occasions that it was his decision to leave Live, that he needed to do something new. And what part of secret don't you understand? The contract was secret. Meaning they didn't know about it until it was uncovered.

Kowalcyzk ruined Live's reputation in their latter years. What makes you think that late-Live is anything remotely as popular as Collective Soul?

Collective Soul has been making similar pop music for the last decade. Better Now, Staring Down.....all hot a/c songs. Just like "late LIVE." The only difference is that their lead singer replaced 3/4 of the other band members, and that is the main reason they are still together.
