pretty depressing how every thread turns into the same exact conversation for the past 3 years...can we try to keep things relevant to the threads for people who actual care about reading real info?

The best solution is to remove the Ed section of these boards.

he's too stupid to read what you posted (or quoted).

I guess that's why Live's had 7000 new likes to FB since the March 12 show. (Ed's got 1.5k since then)

Who might be more popular when the tour bus starts down the PA Turnpike?

Um, Facebook ads for you page give you more likes. I would bet that LIVE took out one since March. Either way, most fans still think Ed is on LIVE anyway, especially since their is no mention of Chris Shinn or a new singer on LIVE's FB info.

LIVE should be more popular just on name alone, not because of CCCP or what they do.

How many of the solo artists that you posted are still out there touring today? Brandon Flowers bombed on his own and is now back with the killers. The Oasis guys are fighting over everything, and Eddie Vedder is name enough that most know who he is.

The name value of LIVE still draws, just ask The Gracious Few.

Formed in 1985 by drummer Chad Gracey, guitarist Chad Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer and vocalist Ed Kowalczyk, +LIVE+ became one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands of the 90’s, having sold 20 million albums worldwide while playing to millions of fans the world over. They have scored multi-platinum albums, including 1991's Mental Jewelry, 1994’s Throwing Copper, 199...7’s Secret Samadhi and 1999’s Distance To Here. In 2008, +LIVE+ declared a hiatus sighting differences with Kowalczyk.

+LIVE+ are currently writing new material and rehearsing for a series of unannounced shows with new vocalist and longtime friend, Chris Shinn (Unified Theory). +LIVE+ recently debuted Shinn at a sold-out concert in York, PA. The controversial addition of Shinn was met with outstanding reviews by both critics and fans. I saw Brandon Flowers play HOB Atlantic City in 2010. He played decently, but complained on stage about place being near empty. After his US tour completed, he was done. When was the last Brandon Flowers solo show?!

Sold out?! It was an invite only show that never went on sale to the public. What critics outside of the York newspaper in their back pocket ever even mentioned the show or LIVE 2.0? Pretty funny.
