I just played it back and nobody mention the name of the song, or that Live has a new album coming out. I hope that doesn't hurt the promotion. Seems like a misstep.....just need the song to pick up on radio.

That did suck...I think the buzz will be strong enough that word will get out on it's own. Let's hope... thumbsup.gif

that was what the host said the estimate was worldwide at the start of the show...seemed kinda outlandish to me too, but who knows. it was several million at least i would think.

In 2003 and 2004 they had 40 million in the US.

Worldwide 200 million sounds right. There are regular TV shows in China that will have 200 million viewers weekly. In Brazil, the wedding of boxer Acelino Freitas drew 55 million viewers. Point is, despite the stereotype, Americans are NOT the only ones who watch television, and definitely not the only ones who pick up on phenomena like this.

ok my females,
the band sounded great lol.gif and all but we know in this shallow entertainment industry looks are major. Wasnt Ed just totally gorgeous? and am i alone in believing his added sexy ass sex appeal will also drive major interest back in Live and major sales for the album!!!!!! banana.gif

Your right! I would be very supprised if the women watching the show aren't going out right now to buy the album. LIVE have always had a special appeal to their women fans lol.gif

On all of the Chris Daughtry forums on American Idol, they are discussing the Live/Chris performance. They are mentioning the name of the song repeatedly, so I think they have it and if they got it, that means the masses probably did, too. Definitely a fantastic performance and definitely going to be good for Live. And, yes, Ed looked GREAT!

YEAH!!! they totally nailed it. Say goodbye to the little venues when we could get up close and personal, now it will be all assigned seating in bigger venues. So glad I got to see them in NYC. Ed looked so hot in his tight jeans.

I thought it was pretty funny being that it was really supposed to be about Chris D but when I was watching my eyes only saw Ed and the boys. Live gave a great performance as usual, Ed totally playing to the audience, I wonder what Paula thought??hmmmmmmm eyebrow.gif A job well done wink.gif
