What do you think the chances are they layed down a full length version of this track in the studio with Chris sometime in the past few days?

Now if that showed up on Itunes tomorrow this single would catch on fire across the US

Not true, of course it was a total Chris crowd, but if he performed with a dog of a group, the response wouldn't have been the same. The crowd appreciated the excellent performance from all involved. It was just plain awesome.

Guys, what time did the performance start? How far into the show? I am on the west coast so it airs at 8PM PST and I don't want to watch all the oterh crap.

If anyone else is watching the show still, it clearly did not need to be a two hour show. Holy crap this is boring. if I didn't have other crap DVR-ing at the moment, I would definitely just flip back to see who won.

I think you're right...he could have been singing with Barney the purple dinosaur and the chicks would have gone nuts for him. They did it pretty much every time he sang.

They probably would have gone more nuts because now they could have their kid watch Barney while they "stirred the paint" to Chris.

You are right. I have been watching AI since it began pretty much. This year, I think the talent is questionable all around, except for Chris and maybe one other finalist. However, in the past, if one of the finalists had a good performance with the celeb chosen to work with them, the guest celeb saw a big increase in sales/google searches/iTunes, etc. I think Live will benefit from this appearance.

Now I just have to go watch it. I taped it and have been out. Sounds like they did a great job. Can't wait .......................
