Um, full band shows are the given for LIVE.

These are sounding less and less like the originals. I barely even recognized TDC. I seriously thought it was a new song for a bit. LJ and LC weren't much better. No comparison to C+CCP at this point.

One word for this..... HORRIBLE!

People are attending Ed's shows and having a good time. I'm not a fan of Chris Shinn's vocals at all, but certain fans will still enjoy the shows. Starting this fall, Ed will starting his acoustic tour and LIVE 2.0 may be doing full band shows. If that happens, for fans of LIVE, it will be win/win.

Even with Chris forgetting some of the vocals at the York rehearsal show, that show was 10 times better then this excuse for music. I didn't think it was possible to destroy my favorite song but Ed did with that version of Lakini's Juice.

I think that would just be a single "win" for fans of Live.

"The Incarnation of The Heart" - of course.

Those videos were terrible. Just when I think he can't get any worse, can't rape and butcher those songs any more, he goes and totally does it yet again!

Maybe for many on here, but a good number of fans will like to hear the chief songwriter and voice of LIVE perform material in an acoustic setting. He has been doing it for the past three years and doing well.

When LIVE 2.0 eventually emerges, there will be initial excitement on this site, but I don't see it being far reaching or long lasting.

Nick, spare us your side of things, you're in the huge minority kid. These video hurt my eyes and ears more than any other butcher job, he and his second rate band have ever done before. I am speechless.

Not sure why you're all of a sudden moving to the middle.....someone give you a talking to?

Anyway, I didn't think TDC could get any worse. LJ is a complete abortion and I didn't bother to watch the legacy gravytrain track. I guess folks need to get good and drunk (having a good time) to even care that it's total garbage on stage.

True, but if I'm going to go see EK, Live, or even a Live cover band I'd expect to see a reasonable facsimile of the original tunes. As I said in another thread, I think ZMan's cover of PLOTR maintains the integrity of the original more than EK is doing at this point. I don't know what the hell his band is playing in those songs.

Especially since they haven't done a thing since March..... tongue2.gif

you wouldnt know a thing about what they are doing!

What they are doing is creating, rehashing, reproducing, and working, amd doing it with their NEW lead singer., not Ed

Ed's cover band flat out SUCKS!

I saw it 1st hand in the Poconos, it lacked any chemistry at all

new LIVE will destroy anythong he puts out and it is ROCK & ROLL
not LAAAA DAAAA DEEEE DAAAAA

If you think Ed's cover band sucks, why did you tell him great show in the poconos and shook his hand while he was on stage?

I wouldn't say they were doing nothing since March. They have been in the studio and finishing with Chris next week. Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they are working hard finishing these tracks up.

As for those Ed videos posted, they were awful! His ego got bigger as his talent dwindled. Having seen Live in York and Austin, I'd rather see that show any day of the week. Just the energy alone made those shows incredible!

Real rock is on its way, not those watered down covers of Live songs.
