It was pretty good. I hate how they halve everything on that show, though. And I'm glad LIVE's finished so I can turn it OFF. Besides that performance, it was torture.

The crowd wouldn't stop cheering either, another great sign.

I am pretty sure that was for Chris, who was a fan fave and nobody could believe he was voted off.

You think?

Its still a great sign for Live. Because a lot of those screaming girls who love Chris will want to hear more of the guy he was singing with.

I thought they did great. Not my favorite song, but halfway through I turned to my husband and said ' This is the perfect song to play on Idol. The crowd went NUTS! Seacrestout couldn't even get his lines in tongue.gif

Looking at how many people are logged on, I have no doubt this will generate interest in Live. I, for one, think it's great. They are a great band, and great guys, and I hope they can find even more success than they experienced in the 90's.

i'd say that qualifies as their largest audience ever, and they definitely rose to the occasion. props to chris for hangin with them and really delivering on his part.

chris and live really do make the other performers look horrible by comparison.

I think you're right...he could have been singing with Barney the purple dinosaur and the chicks would have gone nuts for him. They did it pretty much every time he sang.

Not true, of course it was a total Chris crowd, but if he performed with a dog of a group, the response wouldn't have been the same. The crowd appreciated the excellent performance from all involved. It was just plain awesome.
