Hey guys, Nick seems to be all but gone and Ed is busy. Live has moved on and so has Ed. About time we put all the bitter stuff behind and focus on the fact that Ed is dropping tracks, Live is working on it, and there is more TGF coming in the future.

Weeks ago I commented that Nick wasn't coming around as much and someone retorted that he was still around... I knew I was right.

You guys really demoralized him by taking his avatar and if he comes back I think you should let him have his yoda back.

He's still here. Just you wait until Live release something or tour. He'll be back in full force then to tell us all what he thinks. I wonder what that will be though??


Bri: if you classify what Ed allegedly did as "mean to 3 grown men" then you obviously have no idea of what friendship is or what its like to be stabbed in the back, lied to and cheated by a life long friend. Passing it off as "mean" trivializes it.

You can't sit there and tell me you're not pissed for the band going to shit after Ed pushed his agenda and his friends allowed it? Ed kept alienating himself from everyone as his ego totally railroaded. They're on record in TGF interviews saying they made the mistake of not doing something sooner or not allowing Ed's way, but today if Ed was to change his ways and come back to the fold and not be an ass, all would be forgiven. I don't think that's happening and we're getting what we deserve with new music with Shinn, which is done in the tradition of Old Skool Live!!

Personally I don't get why everyone has to take a side with things, why you have to completely go one way or the other lest you be a fence sitter. There are plenty of situations in life that are just too grey to categorically choose one over the other. However, I don't think this is one of them. I just see overwhelming factors on the side of CCP that it boggles my mind how people can fence sit or support Ed (even if you like his music, that's something else). It seems to main argument of Ed supporters boils down to "yeah well you can't absolutely 100% prove that!". It's like science vs religion, no science can not 100% prove that there is no God and that religious creation stories are BS just because science can't 100% say exactly where we come from, but damnit the factors in its favour of being somewhere close to the mark are overwhelming. Faith keeps people believing in religion in the face of everything thrown at it just the way faith seems to be keeping people believing Ed is innocent in overwhelming odds.

And not everything they say is black or white. CT often spills his guts like in his passionate blog post. He's known for wearing his emotions on his sleeve. But clearly you must realize that sometimes even CT, or CCP as open and honest as they are, say things that are partially filtered. Now Ed, on the other hand, filters everything he says and you can never take anything at face value. If he doesn't have a prepared answer he'll just skirt the issue. Case in point, face culture interview. If you really think they just want Ed back then you are really ignoring all of the other issues that surround it. Sure, there's a possibility but the odds of that are about 1 in a million.

Am I just reading this wrong or is it really as condescending and insulting to religious folks as it sounds?
