Hey guys, Nick seems to be all but gone and Ed is busy. Live has moved on and so has Ed. About time we put all the bitter stuff behind and focus on the fact that Ed is dropping tracks, Live is working on it, and there is more TGF coming in the future. I'd say for a band that broke up it ain't all that bad!

Getting excited to hear the new stuff from Ed. I'm hoping that there's something good coming out.

I'm torn constantly. I love Ed's voice, I think I always will. I'm the Proof just sounded awful. I'm irritated beyond words that Ed can't stop using Live's name and hasn't moved on to singing more than 25% of his own songs at shows.
But I constantly have my fingers crossed that something will happen. Something with that voice - something amazing.

And Hoodie's right... thanks for keeping it in perspective. New TGF, new LIVE songs being recorded, new Ed tracks on the way. something for everyone... nothing to complain about (except the waiting... )

OTD said it best before when he suggested take everything with a grain of salt. We got a rare glimpse into what had been going on in the band when CT wrote his passionate blog piece. Ed's ego driven behavior drove a wedge in the band and well beyond. If CT's words weren't enough to enlighten anyone then the first person accounts from friends, family members, other band members, crew, and business associates should be. Amazingly we have never heard from anyone like this in Ed's camp come to his defense or refute anything that has been shared. Only fans that give the two sides to every story argument. If you haven't figured out, there aren't two sides to this story. Ed will not be coming back to Live anytime soon. I can't even imagine the amount of negotiating and bloodletting that would need to occur to make that happen. Putting it out there that they'd like to have him back is hardly some weak move to get him back. Put your thinking cap on people. Remember, grain of salt.

You hear the accounts from fans. You hear it from band members. I've been lucky enough to hear it from crew and bus drivers that worked with the band in the 90's through the middle 00's, as well as family members of the band. The stuff I've heard is sickening. That, including what I've witnessed, is why I have so much disgust for EK, all that he has done and continues to do.
