Indeed you are correct, sir!

I had him confused with AC Milan's Marek Jankulovski

Always supported Holland since I watched my 1st Euro's in 1988 as a kid! Plus, back then they had Rijkaard, Van Basten and Gullit!

There was really no soccer to follow here in the states (80's/90's) so I had posters of Van Basten and Gullit on my walls. I've always rooted for the Netherlands, but I think they have lost some of the flair and style that I admired so much. It's so nice to see that every game of Euro 2012 will be televised on ESPN. I'll be pulling for either Netherlands or England.

Rijkaard, Van Basten and Gullit were amazing players. We don't have players like that in our team now.

I don't expect my country will do it better than in 2010, when they reached the finals of the World Cup. Germany has the best team and the best players with the best individual skills.

I read an article saying that the Dutch soccer federation would be happy with a semifinal appearance in Euro 2012. After reaching the finals of the last World Cup I would think they would expect to be the champion. Sounds like a defeatist attitude. I'd expect that from the US national team, but not Netherlands. I'm just hoping for a very entertaining tourney. It's time for North America and South America to have a similar tournament.

The players from the Dutch team and the coach are all saying that they want to win. The most football fans in this country are all seeing that they are not better than 2 years back. they don't have the team spirit like they had in 2010.

After the last World Cup, I can no longer root for the "Diving Dutch", they actually made a bitch like Christiano Ronaldo look manly with all of their diving.

The best diver in the world is Ronaldo. I fuckin' hate him. He likes himself a lot.
Messi is amazing. He's the best player in the world, but he's still good for his teammates. He is very unassuming. (i hope this is the right word).

Ronaldo is a great player, but an awfull narcissistic person,...

Messi is the best player and much more humble and more relaxed!

Huge differences between Ronaldo and Messi. Ronaldo has anyone near his legs, and he flops. Messi tries to run through it, around it, or jumps their legs, he just keeps going. Ronaldo could have 2 teammates wide open, but he'll still force a shot that just gets blocked. Messi has 2 teammates open, he'll get the goalie's attention, then sneak the pass to the open teammates for the easy assist.

Messi is the ultimate player and teammate. Ronaldo is the ultimate douche bag.

Cech rocks!

First match recently played:

Poland - Greece 1-1

Was not a great match. 2 red cards, 1 for Poland and 1 for Greece. Greece missed a penalty after Poland goalkeeper Sczesny received a red card. Second Poland Goalie Tyton stopped the penalty. Always good for second goalies when they stop a penaltie after standing for 1 minute in the field.

Next match:

Russia - Czech Republic

I think this one is for Russia. They just have the better players and the better teamspirit. And they have a Dutch coach!!!!!!
