Well, it won't let me quote you Possum, but I look at someone saying things like that as their opinion and they're entitled to it...do you have to agree no way, can you debate about it, absolutely so long as it's a healthy one. But that doesn't happen here many times. It's just name calling and insults when people say things like Chris Shinn is a cover singer or Live would be better with Ed.
And please do not think I'm talking about SJN having crap directed at him...I'm not. I'm talking about others that don't engage the way SJN does, but are called out for not going along 100% with popular opinion.

*I'm not saying you do that, just that it happens frequently.

Unfortunately there is such a divide between the Ed haters and Ed lovers that I don't think there is the possibility for any sensible discussion. It's a tricky situation because of the fact that Ed has his own section on this site. It invites the discussion of Ed & Live, so I guess the back and forth is inevitable. Anyone that likes Ed sucks!

That'd be me... well up until V...yes I like TDTH.

And I kinda got off track, my whole real point is KM said some of the very same things or worse, imo, that some people here are ripped for (minus the Shinn part)...seems double standerish to me, that's all.

Now if Shinn flaked or CCP decide Ed is back in the band then I will gladly walk away from Live and this site. No need to waste my time bitching about something that I have no control over. The guys will be the ones that live with their decision and that's cool with me.

Agree and honestly I am about done with it all anyway.

Am I the only one that feels like Live has more or less decided that since we (the die hards) have been here for so long and stuck with them through so much bullshit (V, BoP, SFBM, the Hiatus) that they can do whatever and we will still be here?

Why do I feel like this is the conversation?:

Somebody: "The fans are really wanting something. Want to do a short video or sound clip?"

Live: "Ah, fuck 'em. They won't go anywhere. We gave them shit for over a decade, then broke up, and there they still are, wondering what is happening now just like they were last month and the month before and the 12 months before that. We're good."

What we need is for Kevin to post a message here clarifying what he said and pacifying all of us insecure whiny worriers until we find the next thing to worry about.

I think it is obvious by now that I just have a ton of pent-up passion and excitement for Live and no place to direct it. I'm like a 14 year old boy with two broken hands in an all-male boarding school.

At this point I guess I will just wait for an email from freaks4live.com if/when something finally does happen.

So OTD...we really don't need KM to come and clarify, do we?
You are stating that as an insider you can speak for KM and say definitively that KM does not want Live back together in it's original formation, so therefore he wasn't saying work it out, get back together.

Where is the Thrill? Earlier in the year he was the fans of live liaison to the band. I'd also say OTD is as well and does give hints of what's to come and he's typically spot on.


CG did mention in a recent newspaper article that there would be no more confusion in the next month or two. They have until the end of the summer. Ultimatums!

I'm questioning why tell me to take it with a grain of salt when it comes from a straight shooter....I tend to take them literally.

Wow, let the speculation run wild. I thought the part about CCP taking their time might be relevant since they do seem to be taking their time (whatever that means) but other than that I wasn't swayed too much by what KM said. I think the path of Live has been carved already and it doesn't seem that EK will be part of it anytime soon. I guess until the next announcement or whatever from Live the speculation will be rampant. They came out and announced CS as the singer, launched a new website with CS doing Live songs, played a few shows, etc. I'm still under the impression that CS is the singer until I hear something concrete otherwise.
