I tried to cover that first thing with the part where she took all of the furniture out of the apartment, and the second thing with the part about how she went to college and got all high-falutin. Part of my point is that perhaps the situation with Live is a bit more ambiguous and less cut and dry than we thought.

I just have to say this at this juncture something I have said in the past: I mostly post stuff here tongue-in-cheek, for the sake of stirring up entertaining discussion, keeping the boards active and alive, and for the comedic amusement of myself and hopefully others. I don't really live and breath this stuff and generally speaking, if it seems like I am living and dying by all of this Live stuff - it is just a faux sense of excitement and passion and curiosity and obsession. All of that is based on one fundamental premise: I find this message board entertaining - like a movie or a TV show or a sporting event. That is why I like having Nick around to stir things up. This is an entertainment outlet for me, and a creative outlet. Where else to I get to write long metaphors that hopefully a dozen people will read and maybe one or two will find amusing. Kevin Martin spent one minute giving some off the cuff remarks about Live and it probably doesn't mean anything or provide any insight. I get it. I hope we all get that it probably doesn't mean anything. But doesn't anyone else find it fun and entertaining to spin up some discussion and toss it around for a while? I'll tell you what else... I think it is for the general good of the band Live to keep the interest alive and well here during what is now a 3 year absenteeism from the music scene. Good comments or bad - it keeps the discussion about the band alive until something real comes along to talk about. Lest there be any confusion about the matter - this is all just fun to me - like a hobby - nothing more.

[edit] Oh, and one more thing - I like Dan and his board. Dan does a lot of work for the Live community. So I like participating and keeping this place alive and relevant.

I'm nearly certain it is, but that's just life. Nothing is ever really unambiguous or as cut and dry as we think.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Maybe CT should've refused to get back on the plane way back when. Maybe Live should've gone on hiatus a long damn time ago after TDTH. Things would be a hell of a lot different right now if they had. Maybe Live wouldn't exist, but I'm sure any music CCP created since, and maybe even Ed too, would've been great.

And yes I know you're just stirring stuff up to get it going. Am I helping?

The result of this interview will be that CCP will clearly drop in the polls. Hopefully, they'll stay within the margin of error. I felt KM's comments about CCP and Ed uncomfortable at best. I'm a staunch defender of CCP. They've earned the right to lay back and enjoy their lives. They've certainly earned the right to reject weak material from a dictatorial front man. Could you "work hard" with that crap? Regardless, I love KM, too. I'll cut him slack. The most important part of that interview is that there is another TGF album in the can. That pumps me up!
