I can't stand the guy but I don't see a problem with this. There's a whole lot of reasons to do it, and there are even more reasons to not do a full-length album at all.

Absolutely. Outside of the Netherlands, Belgium, and possibly Australia, there is no reason for Ed to release a new full length album at all. I would be happy with a new yearly EP.

Nick - not sure where you get the impression that he is so popular in Australia??? I understand Belgium and Holland have a love affair with him but it is clearly not the case here.

Ask any person off the street who Ed Kowalczyk is Wam - I'll bet $10 you'll get a blank look. It was played for about a month in Melbourne a fair bit but then dwindled off. It's easy to sell out little venues.

I know for a fact he gets no where near the attention in Australia that he does in Belgium and the Netherlands.

When does your tour of little venues start?

Agreed. Alive was a major hit in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Ed is still very, very popular here in Holland.
Love to hear his new music, but only if it's a lot better than I The Proof.
