That picture is probably close to what it will look like when Ed is on stage too.

Or at least it would if he didn't say "of Live" cos as you say Nick, he needs to be marketed that way so people know who he is!!

thanks Lakini18 for the awesome video!!!!

I have to say I was leary at first, having seen Ed 4 times solo and knowing his voice wasn't what it was in the day...

I was very pleasantly surprised. PLOTR was well done, I think. The Distance was also particularly nice - except that he's in love with that weird microphone too much, but The Distance had no more falsetto, maybe even less than the album. and on every song, I couldn't hear his smile. I could see it if I looked, but without looking, I couldn't hear it. and he brought his big boy voice on many occasions.

if this is how Ed is doing shows now, I may have to force someone to buy me tix to a show. I still don't wanna give him my money, but I love that voice. and I really love it without that backing band.

thanks again, Lakini

The quality of his voice was surprisingly good. I still wouldn't go seem him though until he stops with the shrills and trills or whatever bells & whistles he adds to all of the notes.

If Ed would just sing... just sing, plain and simple in that strong, powerful voice we all remember - well that would just be awesome.
