Live to perform Mystery on American Idol Options

At the Chicago show the other night during a song (forget which one) Ed says Chad show me what you'd do if you were on American fucking Idol.

and Chad proceeds to go into a guitar riff.

maybe some other concertgoers could back me up on this.
was it just the Chicago show? or others also?

certainly the guys knew they'd be playing on the show by then.

At the Clifton Park concert in February, I heard Ed take a few shots at American Idol. That's why I have mixed feelings about this - clearly, it's for the exposure and ultimately the money. But I can't deny that I'm thrilled that so many people will be seeing Live again. Regardless of why they're doing it - I'll enjoy the show!

You should go with DirecTV then. Plans are cheaper and my Tivo (DVR) cost 100 bucks. With $100 rebate so basically it was free. (I never sent my rebate in though)

AGREED.

Allow me to clarify what I meant - what irks me are these "fans" that come on here and just tear into the band. It's ok to agree, disagree, like or dislike what's happening. But some of the people posting just jump at any chance to trash Live or other people who are posting. This could be an interesting topic if you subtract all the ridiculous posting.

Live said it best: "we all get the flu ... we've got to stick together." What are we fighting for?

Congratulations to Live for agreeing to perform on American Idol. They're not "selling out", they're playing it smart. These guys are a great band and it's good they are finding ways to introduce themselves to new fans. I see some on here who are criticizing them for the move to be on Idol. I'd say that the potential new fans they will gain from their appearance will far outweigh those who choose to leave because they consider Live's appearance on Idol to be a bad thing.

Saw them recently in Chicago and they are getting better and better each concert I see them. I hope they enjoy this experience and look forward to watching it and getting that new cd in June.

If only every Live fan had your attitude.
