I'm not a Mac user - so I don't have any experience using it, but this program looks like it will be able to convert FLAC into a format that iTunes can play. http://sbooth.org/Max/

Umm, are you being sarcastic young Pokey?! Cheeky boy.

But, yes, they ARE GREAT!!! I have a brand spanker sitting in it's box waiting to be unveiled...I rarely have issues....I spent half my life trying to fix PCs before I moved onto macs!

You're gonna have to find some work around or converter to get it out of its box now!

Hmm, no, I just need to get rid of all the crap off my old one so I can migrate the needed stuff only....and clear a spot to have 2 set up for a few hours......life is difficult sometimes.

I'm up for hearing any song they want to re-do....if I don't like it, I can bitch on here about it.

Cool topic!

Pretty much the whole album of V except for Call Me a Fool maybe. Especially Simple Creed and Transmit Your Love. Both of those songs could have been great with better lyrics!!!

Night of Nights with better lyrics.....and that song musically is lacking something as well. It sounds really good but its like it builds and seems like its going somewhere but never gets there.....if that makes sense. Get Ready is the same for me. I like the intro and the verses but the hippy sing along chorus sucks.

Show and Sofia needed better lyrics, they both sound great.

Anything V and after. There are a lot of good riffs on V, but the lyrics and vocals are insulting (pick you up by your puppy scruff? facepalm.gif ). I think the songs are certainly worth revisiting. Other bands have done it, and made some great tunes out of old failures.

One example that pops to mind was a song that Further Seems Forever wrote. Their second vocalist was terrible, but they wrote some good music. A song entitled "There, Now I've Said It" was re-recorded with their third vocalist, and was a huge improvement. Both versions are on their best of album (on spotify) for anyone curious

I'd love to see if new life can be brought to some of the Live songs that make me cringe.

I would be fine with ANY high quality recording of Susquehanna, I am pretty sure it's my second favorite Live song.

As it is, I've always wanted to have the final TDTH tracks WITHOUT the fade outs. I hate fade outs and there are several on that album that really deserved more. I'm looking at you Where Fishes Go. At least I got to hear the endings on the TDTH demo.

Oh yes. WFG being my favourite song should have not been faded out like that. Glad to at least have the alternate version with the ending. Feel the quiet river rage is second to needing a real ending.

death to fade outs indeed!

I will dare to go SFBM...

Night of Nights

I think it could be an awesome song - but there is something about it that's just off. I don't know correct music terms to explain it very well, but I'll try, lol.

"oooh so I give you my love, it's all that I have to give..."(the chorus?) just doesn't seem to have the same feel, energy, and tempo(?) as the rest of the song. It's almost like two different songs in one.

I love the intro and the guitars and drums in it. Even with it's imperfections, I think it's a good song. Great one to crank on the car stereo and go for a drive at night!
