I'm happy that it is clearly defined. People should know that Ed isn't with LIVE. That way they know they will be getting a different version of the band when LIVE does tour.

He'll do just fine. They've only been together a few months. You've made it perfectly clear that you're not going to give him a chance so your points are irrelevant. He can't match Ed's range from early LIVE, but he's just as good as Ed today. Course that's my opinion. He will grow and prosper contrary to your incessant criticisms.

Major front man? We aren't all holding Live to your American Idol commercial vision. Every single thing you say sounds like its coming from a record exec, not a fan. You care more about what he's going to look like fronting the band over the quality of his musicianship. Good god you do NOT deserve music.

was he drowning out his voice? Ed forgot lyrics regularly. Go take a look at the lightning crashes video for woodstock. The most successful song he ever wrote. HE FUCKED it up. Shit happens.


I've been to the last LIVE show with Ed at Westbury NY, I've been to Ed's solo show at the casino and I've been to the last two LIVE shows.

The performances and energy of the last two shows blow away the Last one with Ed and his solo show.
However, you wouldn't know because your judging something you haven't seen.
News flash. He isn't suppose to sound like Ed and when you hear the new album it will blow away that bullshit that Ed just posted on his page.
He sure is the proof that people can change. "hey, I use to be a good dude that loved my friends. Now I'm a douche with shitty ass music, I'm the proof you can become an asshole".

You want proof, put in MJ, TC, or SS, then put in SFBM or Alive. There's nothing there, no soul, no passion, not a single damn redeeming quality about SFBM or Alive. What's he going to do next, only put out SFBM 3. He's become a damn joke, and yeah he's an easy target at this point. Either he's so damn high he doesn't get it, or he's surrounded by "yes men" who keep telling him exactly what he wants to hear! I love that "often gets drowned out by CCP", this is all based on some very roughly mixed demo tracks and a couple of poor (sorry to the people who did their best to record the shows, we all appreciate you getting us something in not ideal situations to have time to professionally set up!) videos, he "often" after 2 performances and a demo session. Glad someone can make huge overbearing statements based on next to nothing. Shinn has no stage presence? Nick, I'm going to believe the people who were ACTUALLY AT THE GIGS what they thought of his stage presence compared to a guy who had already made up his mind that he didn't like him. There's some real unbias judgement right there! Guys like Funky, Fish and DQ were there who call shit straight down the line, they're no bullshit, if something is amiss, they'll call it out - all glowing reviews of Shinn's performances, sorry dude but you have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about when it comes to Chis Shinn.
