Technically the Churchbox Sessions were never officially announced as happening, if there were ads up about them on the site or what have you and then it was canceled is another whole step on from what actually happened.

My point was - plans change. If you can accept it for one, then you can accept it for both. The funny part is that you couldn't even give 2 shits about what things Live release because they aren't anything off Awake, the people who really care might be a bit miffed but roll with the flow.

By the way, I tried to listen to Alive last night. I swear to God I tried with an honest objective ear to listen to that album and find something that I like about it. I tried and I tried and I tried. And then I tried some more. I focused on Ed's voice. Then I tried to get something meaningful and inspirational from the lyrics. I was always influenced by Ed in the past - maybe he is onto something here and I should listen and see if I can find that same level of campy happiness through believe in Jesus, who is always standing right there in front of me - invisible and just out of reach, like a familiar friend who loves me and nourishes me with spritual bread to give me strength for the fight with the evil doers. (NOTE - I am not making fun of Christians here - I am making fun of the pre-kindergarden Sunday school level of sophistication of Ed's lyrics to express Christian themes and philosophy). The result: I couldn't do it. If I was on a desert island with a portable stereo and Alive was the only cd I had, I would sit in silent, desolate isolation and refuse to listen to it. Damn you Ed Kowalczyk. How could you go from genius to a bad clown show?!?!

Ed never announced the tour. You can't compare that to all of Chad Taylor's unfulfilled announcements.

Me thinks someone has more experience planning projects.......with a project team.

He he. I am just giving you a hard time. Although I do get tired of the back and forth between Nick and others. He has moved so far away from mainstream/rational thought that I don't even think his comments are relevant anymore. I know there is someone there saying something, but it is not something that I am going to stop and respond to. In fact, I have come to the view that the Ed Kowalczyk forum should not be a part of this site anymore. How long does Ed have to be the ex-lead singer of the band before he no longer has an official seat at the Live table? Frankly, TGF is a different story because that band is made of of 3 people who actually really are currently members of Live, so that is relevant to Live and what members of Live are doing. If we are going to continue to have an Ed Kowalcyk forum on this site, then I think there should be a Railo forum and an Adam Kowalzcyk forum. Why not have a place to discuss everybody who has played with the band in the past?

Ed Kowalczyk wrote all the LIVE songs that LIVE 2.0 is singing at the moment. If you don't see a difference between him and Adam/Railo, then you are beyond help.

On your other argument, The Gracious Few said themselves that they have nothing to do with LIVE. So if one forum leaves, it should be theres.

Agree 100%. Only way this nonsense will end, but since I have no control over that I'll just continue to ignore and weed through the shit to get to the news/updates I want to read.
