perhaps...is Walmart really full of people like that? I read the book, you know where the young girl gives birth in Walmart?......and I've wanted to go there every since!!

I think we would call it boganville.

The book is called Where the Heart Is.

Walmart is my worst nightmare...it's crowded, people are rude, lines when checking out.
Unfortunately, when wally world came it ate up all the competition, save one or two places that had to raise their prices to stay alive, so I'm stuck with it.

And although I've never really thought about, it IS filled with people like that.
Maybe not to those extremes every time, but I find myself raising my eyebrows frequently.
It just sucks, I hate the place.

That's why I rarely venture into my Walmart until after 11pm. It's a magical kingdom when no one's around. The only people you really have to contend with are the workers.

Ok, maybe it's not a magical kingdom...

Ok, maybe it's not a magical kingdom...

I used to do that, when I worked a different shift. Now 11pm is waaaaay past my bedtime.
It's a different kingdom then true, but I still can't say it's magical!

I don't know, dear. I felt a little guilty laughing at this. Some how it seems a little wrong, parenting-wise that is.
