It took me some time, but I was able to get an Email subscription notification system inplemented on the Blog page. So you can get notified of updates through Twitter, the RSS feed through an RSS Reader, or through email notification.

I started reseraching my first Blog post that I am working on. "The 'Ed' Of an Era: How Live's Singer Changed From Kowalczyk to Shinn"

I find the whole history of Live and the transformation of the band and particularly Ed very interesting. I'm not even sure how to make sense of how you go from TC era Ed to now. But it happened and he's no longer the singer of Live thanks to it. He may say he wanted to do something different but I know he'd rather be the lead singer of Live. He's just not willing or capable of doing what he needs to in order for that to happen. CCP aren't without faults and admittedly could have done some things differently. But they did everything they could to keep Live together (with Ed) as long as they could. Not sure how they could have done anything more when EK barely even acknowledges that they exist these days. Not sure how Ed fans can be so upset that CCP have moved on with a new singer with that in mind. It definitely is and "Ed" of an era because I think he could have prevented it. Now we have a new era and I'm excited for what that may bring, especially considering the old era had been stale for about 10 years.

Just listen to the records. It's even more evident on the bootlegs which span almost 20 years.

I can see and hear the transformation perfectly. It's just mind boggling to think of where he is now compared to where he was in the mid 90's.

If I had my old concert reviews I would let you post them, I wish I could go back and read them, but the wayback machine doesn't work on the old SOY forums.

Just a reminder. Please send me a Fan Journal Entry through the site. I put some work into establishing a second blog page on the site for a nice format for the Fan Journal entries. Someone please be the first to get the ball rolling.

I want to start filling the site with great stuff from fans so that when Live launches with force, there will be some content on www.thebandlive.com for newly ignited fans to find.

I am working on some blog entries. I know I am slow to get that going. I am doing some research.

Also, I have a few Twitter followers. I have been tweeting any Live-related news. Please follow and spread the word. When CCCP start making waves, I want to try and help them make BIG waves. We should all try and help them do that.

I just posted a new blog entry. It is a pretty in-depth review of Tired of "Me". I went pretty spiritual with this one and I actually learned more about the song as went about writing the blog and listening to the song again closely.

I moved the domain name for my site to a new name - one which more aptly describes the nature of the site as a fan-created journal of words and photos devoted to the band Live.  The new location and title of the site is www.LiveFanJournal.com.  I am not a very sophisticated technology person and I may need to work out some bugs. I also changed the name of my twitter feed. I will be changing out the images on my site with new watermarks reflecting the new name over the next few days.
