Notes:

First and foremost, I wanted to make this clear when listening to this - this
is NOT the original LIVE lineup. This is Ed Kowalczyk with other musicians
performing the music of LIVE. Sadly, the band has been going through tumultuous
drama the past couple of years and no one knew if the band would ever honestly
play again! Feel free to look up the Rolling Stone article "How an Alleged Con Man
Tore Apart One of the Nineties Biggest Bands" and read for yourself. Pretty
crazy stuff, indeed. Now, getting to the 2023 show - it was pretty impressive.
I saw Ed's solo band back in 2013 and this show was much better with far more
energy. It also helped it was all LIVE material. Ed's vocals were a little high
in the mix, but outside of that, the sound is relatively good. Ed also fudged
up some lyrics in "Freaks", but he blamed it on being "1997". I doubt most in
the crowd remembered them, either. If you love the band's music, go check out
the new lineup this year! Worth it, for sure!
