Live are headlining a ‘’one off’’ show in Melbourne and this is the first time Australian audiences will be introduced to new front man, Chris Shinn, who joined the band in 2012. According to critics in the US, Chris has been a welcome replacement, in a band that dominated the charts and packed out arenas around the world.

Says Shinn of Live’s pending visit “Australia has been at the top of our list since I joined Līve. This will be my first trip there and to say I'm excited would be a huge understatement. The bands history with Australia is legendary. Getting to reconnect with that is going to be epic!"

Live achieved worldwide success with their 1994 album, Throwing Copper, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually surpassed sales of 10 million in merely two years. Rolling Stone and MTV both dubbed the album "one of the 25 Greatest Rock Albums of All-Time", while taste makers from Spin to The New York Times lauded it with equal praise. They have since gone on to sell over 22 million albums worldwide and Live has been and remains today a global concert juggernaut.

Their latest album, The Turn, marks the band’s ninth studio album and original members, Chad Taylor (Guitar & Backing Vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (Bass & Percussion), Chad Gracey (Drums & Percussion), who are joined by Chris Shinn (Lead Vocals & Guitar), have re-invigorated its sound with effusive energy and massive hooks.

‘’Love it, The Turn, is easily the best Live album since Throwing Copper”

‘’The Turn is full of surprises and a brand new energy. The band hits harder and heavier than before, which is a very welcome adjustment.”

‘’Newcomer Chris Shinn is a fine replacement’’
Keerang! Magazine

“Shinn, sincerely, is a better singer than the former face of the group. He has a ripe fervor that few artists in the rock genre can boast these days’’
about.com

“Shinn’s ability to mix up his vocals have added a diversity to the band that was previously missing’’
Rush on Rock

Supporting Live will be Chocolate Starfish, one of Australia’s most successful bands of the 1990’s and widely regarded as the best live band of their era. The band’s lead singer, Adam Thompson, became fast known as an entertaining frontman and still to this day, holds a captivating and theatrical stage persona. Chocolate Starfish produced two Top 10 albums and six Top 50 singles including ‘Your So Vain, ‘Mountain’ and ‘Four Letter Word’.
