Wholly shiit, I had no clue about candlebox and begrudgingly I checked them out.

Man, the clips aren't really changing my mind too much. Not my cup of tea, I guess! For a longtime Candlebox fan, hearing them go in decidedly more pop direction is a letdown.

I'm impressed with how faithful the re-records sound to the original, I'm normally not a fan of that sort of thing but these are certainly strong enough for the band to do good things with. The drums are the only thing that sound crazily different, and you can actually hear the bass!

Only Far Behind, You, Cover Me, Change & Simple Lessons are old, the rest of the songs are new. Out Here All Night is a cover of a Damone song.

This is an awesome interview!! I could've written it word for word. She Come Over is my favorite also and apparently I am not the only one who wants to open my car window & blast Sweet Summertime!

Review of Love Stores & Other Musings

“Youth In Revolt” seems like the perfect song to start the album. It hooks fans and it introduces new listeners to what Candlebox is all about. Track by track, you find new reasons to love this band. The fourth song on the record, “She Come Over Me,” is my new favorite Candlebox tune. “Sweet Summertime” is a song that all of you should blast out of your car with the windows rolled down. “Believe In It,” the first single off of Love Stories and Other Musings, is near-flawless. If you haven’t heard it, scroll back up to the top of this page and listen to it. Listen to it over and over. And then call your local radio station and request it. Request it over and over.
