Interest in Live Options

I personally feel a renewed sense of excitement that I haven't felt since the pre-V days. How about you guys?

i guess you know, when a fair honest poll and those who like what they are hearing speak out and support it then it's ok...having an opinion not favoring it, but some opinions are simply stated to cause a rabble. Thats right some always supported, I made the mistake of not speaking up to this band earlier in the 2000's, and telling them to cut the deadweight (i got tired of waiting and hoping and my interest totally waned)....but they're all good men, they supported their brother unconditionally and all they got was bad news and betrayal. Doesn't matter all is good...the groundswell is good. People that have heard SHinn now are totally warming up to this. Ed has to be shaking in his shoes now....really....it's going to be like Maestro said. I wish Ed well, but he really needs to break course and do his own solo hits in majority and not use 80% Live songs at his shows. It's a contradiction to what he's on record stating time and time again. (and I am not the only one saying it). Let the fans be the true judge of what Live is all about.....it's not about individuals name. I'll miss what Live has way back in the day and I don't think if he came back it would be any better than it was in 2009. Many Ed fans at the Texas show came away impressed what Chris will bring to this chapter of Live....I for one hope it's a nice ride....so far so good. Do Not Feed the Trolls!!

Ed can continue to perform his LIVE songs solo, and do very well. He also doesn't need 5 members, a road crew, and a giant bus to get around.


From what I've heard of Shinn, he has a very average voice at best. There is nothing dynamic or different about him, and he has below average stage presence. CCP seem to realize that and have 5 backing musicians working hard to cover his weaknesses.
Some will accept him, but new LIVE ultimately will pale in comparison to what came before.
