I came across the following Tweet from producer "Drew Money"

I don't know much about this guy so I did a quick bit of research. He's produced songs for Rap and R&B artists. For example Nikki Minaj's track "Right Through Me" hit #14 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart.

Same here. He clearly lost himself around the V era with the rapping and weird hair/clothing styles.

He said he became a Christian man but it sounds like he hangs out with thuggish rap figures.. Doesn't sound very wholesome to me?

Personally I found the bald with a skinny braid look circa Throwing Copper to be pretty weird also.

Drew Money responded to Dan's post on twitter stating that he doesn't only work with Rap and RB. So I am guessing Ed's new music isn't in that genre.

Of course it won't be in that genre but it will have the genre's influence.

This is true you don't hire a producer who is known for producing mostly hip-hop and not expect to have that flavor seep into your albums sound.

I'm not entirely sure that the songs that they worked on are for the new album. Ed has given no mention of being in the studio to record his follow-up to Alive just yet. I'm interested to see what the songs are for.

Frankly the sales figures from Alive don't really warrant a new album.
