Live with a new singer = pointless.
They sound like they're their own tribute band.
Seriously, trying to emulate Ed's vocals is just embarrassing.
If you want to try out new stuff, screw around with TGF, but don't rape Live songs.

Slag me off and call me an Ed lover or whatever, but anyone who doesn't see this as a big pile of crap has serious hearing issues.

It's far less embarrassing than Ed and his new band raping Live songs. The guy wasn't trying to emulate the vocals as much as simply sing the song as it was written and originally performed. Something that Ed has forgotten how to do. It wouldn't be such a big deal if Ed was doing something new with that song that was interesting and exciting to hear, but it's not interesting or exciting. It's atrocious and utterly embarrassing. His singing of that song, especially in the video I posted earlier in this thread, provokes the image of an overcooked turkey. And his band? They have absolutely no feel for that song at all. The octave notes the one guitar player hits during the bridge of the song is complete garbage. Like nails down a chalkboard. It totally robs the bridge of the dark edge and screams amateur hour.

I'll take the new singer + CCP performing old Live tunes over Ed + studio rats performing old Live tunes any day. JMHO.

He's as entitled to perform LIVE material as much as CCP are.

Then he needs to actually perform them... not skull fuck them to death.
