hoping some of you got to see the teaser vids last night of a friend some of us have on FB...
WOW

a 40 second video, which I related to "drinking a double espresso and taking a lap in an Indy car"

meaning...holy fuk did it get me WIRED!!! rockin.gif

Let's face it. In the 90's we were Live fans and we were all young, cool, had a full head of hair, and still fit into our skinny jeans. We saw Live concerts in stadiums and when we told people who are favorite band is, we didn't have to explain (do you remember that song Lightening Crashes that was popular in 1994?). Now we have been relegated to a bunch of old, balding losers arguing with strangers in an anonymous corner of the internet about a broken-up band that has been long-forgotten by the public and the music industry, getting excited about 15 second sound clips of some recording which we don't even know whether it was recorded 20 years ago or 2 weeks ago as if it were the second coming of John Lennon. I am defintiely having fun with all of it. Now I am ready for the band to give me something to be proud of again as a fan. I want the band's next move to be something that restores dignity to Live fans. Maybe "Freaks" for Live was the right monicker. Right now, we are the Quasimodo of music fans.
