Good question.

For the last two years I feel like this message board, the secret candle that I still hold for this band, and me and my iPod full of old Live music have been the functional equivalent of self-gratification with a cheese-grater.

We've been through V, BoP, SFBM and (gasp ) Alive,, a hiatus that turned into an ugly break-up, litigation, Nick, ground coffee branded with Ed's kids' picture, a side band that was brilliant but quickly vanished after promises of more touring and albums, rumors of an anonymous Ed-impersonator lead singer, a frustratingly long web site launch for a new domain name that abondons the one they have used since the dawn of the internet. I'm sorry if I am a little edgy when some "friend" that we can't mention sent some "teaser video" of the band "warming up" to certain "friends" and we read a post about it that queries whether anyone else was lucky enough to see this awesomeness. Can we possibly be reduced to anything lower than we already are at this point? I don't know. How low does this Live elevator go? At least my humiliation is more or less anonymous.
