I want to trim some of the audience applause in Live at the Paradiso. When I edit the file in Audacity, will the original EQ levels remain intact? Or will I have to manually EQ each track?

After importing a file, does Audacity strip anything away from the original file? Or all settings (db, bass, treble, high) unchanged until I edit them?

I'm not aware of a global EQ setting

You may be able to drag all the songs into one Track, and then EQ it that way.

Or it probably wouldn't be too excruciating to EQ each track one at a time.

If you're trying to remove applause through EQ, I assume you sacrifice those frequencies in the song.

Go ahead and chop it up though - shitty performance, can't sound much worse!
