Ed Roland just announced that Collective Soul is going on a 1, 2, or 3 year hiatus. He is currently on tour solo with Kevin Griffin of Better than Ezra. Looks like he's following the other Ed's lead. lol.gif

You want band drama? Look no further than Collective Soul. I think they have... 3 of the 5 original members now? I remember Ross slept with Ed's then wife or something, and I don't think anything knows what happened to Shane on drums. What a mess.

I always liked their music though, except for Afterwords. They definitely didn't have the dramatic decline in quality of the other band mentioned, and the dip that did happen came from losing Ross (for understandable reasons). I actually opened for his current band once, he's a nice guy but I did feel kind of like punching him in the face. lol.gif
