Actually...you are correct. I had never been to a CB show before, but I met up with a group of some friends from FB (TGF/LIVE/CB fans) in Houston two weeks ago and I must say that I was blown away. Kevin's energy level is completely different than with TGF...both amazing, but so different and wonderful.

Would've shared photos, but someone walked off with my camera (yes, after the show). Thank goodness I had my flip and a camera on my phone, so I did not come home empty-handed.

I still get very choked up even now, but they dedicated a song to my mom (who recently passed away) that evening and it definitely was a night I will remember for the rest of my life. It just proves even more to me how amazing and wonderful these guys are. (And this after only meeting them once...last October in Austin).

I find it interesting that you mentioned that about Kevin's energy, I wonder if the size of the crowd/venue has any effect on that? The second time I saw TGF his energy level was as up as it is for Candlebox, but the venue was damn near full.

Could be. I honestly don't know how Kevin does it, but he is ALL over that stage ... reaching out to the crowd. Not just him either, Memphis, Adam and Peter are the same way. It was a great show!

Man, sounds like you went to a special show then! Normally Sean and Kevin are going crazy and while Adam and Pete put on solid shows, they aren't as much for crowd interaction and whatnot. Maybe they all scored some killer drugs beforehand?
