I mean really. Its CCP with a different singer, throw an extra guitar player in there too. New Live is going to be CCP and a new singer. Is it just going to be the fact that the new singer is going to sing old songs?

Can I be expected to believe that CCP's music with New Live will somehow differ from CCP's music in TGF?

What's the difference going to be, really?

I suppose only time will tell.

Yeah they went for a specific style with TGF. They could take new Live anywhere. We're not going to know until we hear anything so anyone asking what the point is has a mute point. Let the music speak for itself and judge from there.
How is what Ed doing now any different from what he was doing with Live. He's getting to do things "his way" now, but it's the same as the last 10yrs. In most cases the exact same songs. Hes the one actually saying things are different.

If you ask why bother doing it, then why not ask why any musician do more than one band? There will be enough differences from TGF. Plus Id hope they're on a mission to restore a bit of musical credibility to the name Live.
