The above is a link to a video I just uploaded of the mispressed 2003 Heaven vinyl single which plays P. Diddy instead of Live.

Many of you may not know, but Live's 2003 debut single from the album "Birds of Pray" was released as a promotional 7" picture disc vinyl in Europe. However, the vinyl single was initially pressed with the wrong tracklist. Not just the wrong tracklist, but the wrong BAND! This single, somehow, passed all test pressings (if there were any) and got released to the public containing mixes of P. Diddy's "Let's Get Ill". This video contains an intro and also a full play of the a-side of this single. The b-side video is soon to follow.

Interesting video... I skipped through the rendition of the P. Diddy track because I value my hearing but your introduction was very good.

I don't know about other bands, but I think Live did reasonably well with their vinyl releases over the years. The FOL Holiday Gifts used to be on vinyl for a while, with the red/blue swirl 10 inch being a standout. Post 2000, Live vinyl releases pretty much stopped but from 1991 - 1999 they were regularly pressed.

Re: the Heaven missprint. Somebody should have been fired over that, but by that stage I think nobody really cared about about Live releases. The record label obviously didn't. To be honest, vinyl records are just for show - anybody who actually plays them is in for some disappointment. You only had to listen to the first 10 seconds of the P.Diddy track. Pops, clicks, crackles - appalling.

Thanks for posting the video. Hope to see more in the future.

PS. If anybody wants to see the extent of Swami's collection - take a look at his other videos on YouTube. Some cool stuff there.
