I won't belabor this new article but, the author missed several key points about live reforming w/o ed. Sounds as if that piece wasn't going to be allowed.....same old story though.......yawn.
She's also mis informed regarding the reason for the split.

There is a lot of inaccuracy to this interview. 1. Ed did not write all of the music. Every true fan knows that is complete BS. The issue wasn't over who could perform any songs. Anyone can go play any song they want. Ed can cover a Beatles song or he can cover a song from LIVE. Nothing wrong with that. Its interesting that Ed ventured out on a solo career, however 90% of the songs he plays in concert are all LIVE songs.
I think the interviewer in this piece did a bad job getting to any facts, however she probably had a long list of questions that she could not ask Ed. Personally if I was a reporter, if I wasn't able to ask all of the questions that need to be answered, I wouldn't interview celebrities who's only reason they even agreed to be interviewed is to promote something somewhere. What you really should have asked him is why he was in a legal fight, how he feels that LIVE has a new lead singer and have moved on without him. Those are the questions that make for a great interview.
based on this interview one would assume his solo career is going great and that the venue is sold out for this local show. However, the reporter should go and find out how many album sales he has on his solo effort and how many ticket sales for the show.
Those two figures will give you a better idea and are more telling them this one sided promotion for Ed.

The interview was a piece to hype an upcoming show. It wasn't supposed to be a hard hitting interview. Whoever wrote the rebuttal obviously has an agenda.
