Sure - but the only thing that matters is what Live thinks. No matter what they're not going to make everyone happy (not even if they brought Ed back).

Bringing Ed back would make a heck of a lot more people happy than replacing him.

I just don't get why anyone would have a problem with them continuing with Live. C,C,P tried to work with Ed forever, even accepting lesser roles and percentages to continue until Ed finally went on his own for good. Why in the world would you begrudge C,C,P for continuing under those circumstances? Right, it's not Live without Ed. For one thing, no fan can determine that. It might not fit your definition of Live, but that's because of your own limitations, not any problem of theirs. If you want to begrudge someone because your favorite band is moving on, then look to Ed. He's the one who left the band. It would be much healthier though if you could just make peace with it. After all, you're the one harboring all the negativity.
