There used to be an awesome alternative rock station in Philly called Y100. Every year, they would put out a cd of performances (usually acoustic sessions) by rock acts that came through their studio. There were 2 Live performances on the cd's. One performance was an acoustic performance of Overcome. It is particularly good because Ed uses a lower range for the song and his voice sounds great. The other song was I Alone, which sounds great with some keyboards. Y100 has been gone for a while and the cd's are no longer available. The sound quality of these recordings is excellent.

They are available for download here:

I always loved the acoustic versions Live did and I know they are readily available. From the MTV show to the songs with Anouk and many radio station appearances you can get quite a bit but I always held out hope they would do a complete acoustic album that would feature the ones you always hear but then also others that you wouldn't normally hear an acoustic version of.

In my dreams the CD would be a double disc and easily 20-30 songs. There are probably 10-12 songs I have never heard done acoustically that could be really cool.
