You know, it was pretty hard for me to listen to Live in the last 2 years. Today I was going to work by car and decided to spin ... SFBM!

You know why? Because I always enjoyed it and it is the most controversal album for us, the fans. Some say it is shit, some like it, some say it is ALIVE - 1 with Aliev being SFBM 2.

I remember when I was going through enormously hard times 2,5 years ago, I needed some light music. So on my way to work I was spinning SFBM when going by underground... and suddenly noticed people looking at me surprised. I understood that I was singing Wings aloud and crying.

This song helped me pretty much, but today...

You know, I tried to comprehend and get the idea of the album together with the feelings it aroused. Not as a fan, but as a casual listener. It was not until Get Ready that I told myself to get together. I was behind the wheel and I was really feeling pretty bad as all the previous albums, Ed being a bad guy, hiatus, it all got mixed in my head and I started feeling nervous.

To the album itself. With all the water-Jesus-Buddha stuff I would not call it THAT religious you know. It is simply full of sunshine, light, whatever you may call it, but it does not match the high gap the previous albums stated... Dunno how to say that actually. It does not FIT the rest of the albums (V, BoP included). It does not make it bad or unlistenable,.. it is just.. different. It still is MY LIVE, but in another form.

I noticed falsettos, which I never really took in any consideration. There are zounds of them. Not that Ed can not handle them, they just do not suit his voice which had always been perfect. Dunno why he decided to give them a go... Hell knows...

And to the music itself. It simplified drastically,... but after all I read here, that the musicians could change and noone would notice.... FUCK RIGHT OFF! The primitive Get Ready gets sawn together with a perfect tickling of Chad T's guitar, the warm and soft colors are added by Chad Gracey and the simple bassline is OVERFILLED with emotions and mercy by the one and only Pat.

God damn, give Sofia a spin! A word like "freightloader" can NOT be used in a song,.. but... check out the bassline again! And the drumming is absolutely spectacular!

Live is not Live without CCP - that is my general thought,..

Damn, I love my band

Well yeah it does. If Ed used the word "freightloader" in a song then I would agree with you because it's not a commonly used word and would be out of place in Sofia. But Ed used "freeloader - this word has been used many times in lyrics and in the context of the sentence makes perfect sense.

You used that word as an example of how Ed's lyrics has gone downhill, but since he never used that word your argument is invalid.
