Q. What is your side of the story about why Live disbanded? Do you ever foresee working with your former band mates again?

A. I had simply come to the end of a chapter in my life and wanted to spread my wings and move beyond what I had been doing, in the same way, for almost 20 years. As far as the allegations that were leveled at me and purported as the reason for the breakup, they were all absolutely untrue. I have no plans to work with those individuals again. The spirit of Live is alive and well in my performances and my new material — come and see for yourself.

(SJN)...Bout time you realized what a lot of us long timers all ready know.

He's still sore from being called out for his 'purpoded' wrong doing. He's not going to admit a box of rocks with litigation still pending.

What he thinks is the spirit of Live in his performances is utterly the most farthest thing from the truth there is. With technology today, we don't need to go see it the way he's presenting it. Someone make him sit down and watch old performances of himself and C&C&P from 89-01 and watch them for a year on end......hey waterboarding works in other ways too.

He should listen to what most people (the fans) who started with them before becoming big have to say. Most of them will say Live was those 4 guys. SOmeday, he'll realize this, probably when it's too late. I am sure C&C&P would always extend a hand to him in forgiveness and respect because that's who they are. Ed seems to think Live started with TDTH, when he got things his way. While that album was fantastic, it started the wave crashing. We all know what happened after this record. It's proof alone that they sold jack shit when there was no more collaboration and communication.

He'd have nothing if it werent for C&C&P asking him to join into a band of brothers. They'd probably not if made it all w/o the 4. That's all speculative at this point. Why did his ego have to ruin it? Create the wedge, the band drama that probably started other drama we don't know of.

Hey, it's ok. I've moved on. It's ok for those finding Live late and enjoying the AC 40 style stuff, but it's not what they came out of the box with and gave it their all to acheive the success they did. The fans, new and old are more than entitled to support whomever they want, it's their choice. I choose to support C&C&P for the kind of music that is true to their soul.

Btw, do you really (really??) think they started TGF for success or to get the biggest band out there (as that is what I sense when you say 'didn't take off as they hoped').

They wanted to make TRUE and good music again, music they like. They did. How did this not take off as they hope...?

If TGF really was aiming for a big succes, they would make just a real pop-rock album (although that isn't even a guarantee for succes - take Ed's solo album as an example)
