With all the squabble and B-side talk lately I decied to pick up Alive (plus the two bonus tracks) and listen to it this week. There definately are some skips but there are a few songs I actually do like.

Understanding that Ed pretty much was writing all of the material on those albums what do you think is the best song Ed's written and released post TDTH ? (Look over V - Alive).

I'm trying to stay away from stuff like Lighthouse and Like I Do, that had influence from the rest of Live.

Even though it's not a single I've really been digging Zion and I think that might be it. I like the sound and a lot of the lyrics. It's a catchy song.

I know there's been a lot of bad, so what would you guys consider the best track Ed's put out since TDTH?

Zion would go close, nothing else on Alive does anything for me but Zion has a cool vibe. Putting aside Like I Do and Lighthouse as you mentioned. I'm quite fond of Every time I see your face, Out to Dry, Flow, Simple Creed, Deep Enough, The Ride, Purifier, Sofia, She and Nobody Knows.

I'd put none of them anywhere near my favourite live songs, not even close. But I mean they're listenable to me either for a personal reason or just have other redeeming features. But really 11 songs in about 4 albums is a pretty bad return rate sad.gif
