I remember the one you did the other year when you said CG died in a car crash.....Shit i remember Nick having a big sook about it (Yes everyone, he use to like all the members of +LIVE+, not just ED).

I don't believe Nick was concerned for anything beyond how Ed would feel had CG really died. I'm sure the following thoughts were going through his head at the time:

"How is Ed gonna land $100,000 lead singer bonuses if the band as a whole can't play"
"What impact is this going to have on sales"
"Maybe this tragedy will free Ed up to more solo acoustic shows"
"Who needs a consistent drummer anyway, we can just get Ed to make the beats in garageband and play them over the PA at the concert, this will mean a bigger cut of the money for Ed"
"If Ed is sad about the loss of his friend, I wonder if I can get him to cry on my shoulder why I caress the back of his beautiful bald head"
