I have a questions regarding the lyrics to the song Dam At Otter Creek. Does anyone have any idea what Ed is saying at the end of the song, starting at around 4:03 and going through to the end of the song? I know it is difficult to understand, but every time I hear it, I always wonder what he is saying. If anyone has any idea, I would appreciate your input, thanks.

I'll give it a go:

after the refrain:

we took the dead man in sheets
to the river flanked by love
deep enough to dive
deep enough to dive
be here now

he says flanked by love and be here now in a moaned voice
followed by other inaudible moaned words

then into 4:03

he is saying in some kind of voicebox contraption

Be Here
Be Here
Be Here
I hear the word 'flanked' again followed by 'be here'
but whatever is after that doesn't sound like any of the song lyrics and is totally inaudible (when you slow it down and listed)
