I got this from www.systemofadownonline.com

"System Of A Down guitarist Daron Malakian has told mtv.com that the band's headlining stint on this summer's Ozzfest will be the last time in a "a few years" that they be appearing onstage together under the System banner."

cry.gif And i missed my chance to see them at Ozzfest NYC because i did not want to wait to wait through those other crazy death metal bands cry.gif cry.gif. If only i'd known, i would have bought tix but i did not thinking i would have gotten them when they did their own Headlining tour for Hypnotize. Ah man!
DAMN!!!!

I'll miss you guys........

First album was fun. Toxicity was epic. Steal this album wasn't bad. Mesmerize was...fairly crap, but had some good songs. Hypnotize was crap.

The thing that annoyed me was Daron's excessive vocals on the last two albums. If he had kept his mouth shut some of the music wouldn't have annoyed me so much.

But 'complex, unbelievable drumming'? Sure he's good, perfectly believable though. I see SOAD as prog for the mainstream- music that seems spastic and crazy but with some sort of commercial appeal so people can feel ok about liking them around their friends.
